16th May 2010
The last few months have been very busy for us, and we are continuing to provide and develop new sites for clients, and maintain and enhance current sites for our other customers. Our client billing area is almost complete and all clients should in due course receive emails to confirm this. We have also recently registered two further domain names, and will be looking at merging both our design and hosting business, into one fully functional site. This should hopefully make it easier for clients who engage our web design services and/or hosting services, to find everything in one dedicated site. We will keep you posted on these and other developments.

We are currently upgrading and re-designing our Hosting Services pages. The new site Web Hosting Free will aim to be more feature rich than the previous site which is still currently available, but all the information will be transferred across as soon as possible. If you would like some more information on our Hosting Packages please contact us to discuss your needs.

We have been made aware that a company or an individual has made several phone calls to businesses using Just Check asking for credit card details for payment relating to their Just Check Web Design / Hosting Packages. We can assure you that this is no way connected to Just Check, and if you receive this sort of phone call, do not hand over any credit card details or make payment in any way. Just Check do not pass on your details to any third parties, nor do we instruct anyone to act upon our behalf.
If you are contacted by anyone suggesting that they are part of Just Check, or acting on their behalf, or have contacted you claiming that they are able to help your business, we would very grateful if you could get as much information as possible about them, e.g. Location, individuals name etc, and then let us know so we can try and take action.

The updates and upgrades have been moving along steadily, in between client projects and other committments. We have been busy checking through the site design and modifications, and still have some areas that we need to complete. We have also been nominated for the 7th Annual Hants Web Awards, which celebrate excellence in website design, accessibility and service. The awards are open to any website based in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

- For anyone considering using Just Check, I would highly recommend them. They helped me with a captcha solution to cut down on spam from my email form, and additionally with a form field validation solution to make sure I get the information I need from potential customers to contact them. Doug is knowledgeable and quick to respond with solutions, with an ability to understand complex issues without much data to go on. Additionally, their prices are very reasonable for the services provided. I had to make "donations" via PayPal because Doug was trying to do too much for me for free, and I felt guilty.
